The Curious Ear (2010): Crom Regatta 2010

Crom Estate on the shores of Lough Erne Co. Fermanagh was famous for its annual regattas.  It ended in 1913.  The annual meet spurred design innovations in yachting that were adopted around the world.  In 2010, the local classic yacht association revived the sport with the Crom Annual Regatta, inviting yachts and steamboats from around Ireland and the U.K.  (First Broadcast 2010)
