How VMware can help make cloud migration simple - Jeff Eberhard

In this podcast edition, we talk with Senior Manager, VMware Cloud Solution Engineering, Jeff Eberhard about why it can be so challenging to quickly and easily move an application from the data center to the cloud. We discuss how most traditional, client-server, applications running in the data center have some form of application to infrastructure dependency that makes its likely that anyone moving an app from the data center to a hyper-scaler cloud will need to rewrite some amount of the code to make the app run as expected. Fortunately, the work that VMware is doing to make it possible to run the VMware Cloud Stack on any of the major hyper-scalers offers an answer to this problem.
